Now of course you're asking "What the hell does she mean by crunch bar?" If you didn't have to ask then you're great because you know, but it's okay if you don't. A crunch bar is someone who puts makeup over their bad acne. "Katie stop that, don't talk about people, it's not nice." Honestly, I'm not here to talk about anyone, I'm just here to bring awareness to the crunch bar faces.
A lot of people have acne, I mean come on it's normal, from a teenager on up to adulthood, for some people it stopped and for some it kept going. No one likes to have these little nasty red puss bumps sitting on their face in front of people or even in private, its weird, its nasty, it feels weird, and probably makes you uncomfortable because I know I feel grossed out when I have a bump on my face, ew. But there is one thing that some of us, if not a lot of us, like to do, and that is covering it with makeup. Of course, there's makeup out here why not use it? Makeup is used for so many things, why not?
Well there really isn't a reason not to use it, but all I'm saying is to at least take care of your face before adding to it. Now what some people don't know is actually that some makeup is good for your skin. So no, not every piece of makeup out there is bad for your skin and is made to cake up and block your pores. (And I will list some on my website in the skin care section if you would like to know more).
There are a lot of people that think all makeup is bad, but in reality it isn't. It mainly depends on what the product is made from because there is some makeup out there that is horrible for your skin and probably shouldn't wear it even if you have good skin because then you'll mess up your skin, and most people now a days are leaning towards more natural made products that are easy on the skin but still give you that glow that you are looking for.
Now, there's nothing wrong with putting makeup over your acne because you can do whatever you want with your face, but my only concern is that you are at least taking care of your skin before putting on these products. I need you to at least know what possible products you can use and what regimens would work so one day you can have your glow with and without makeup.
Makeup is a cover up of course but its temporary and when you wash that stuff off you're back to this gravel looking face that you can only temporary cover. The only thing I am trying to say is take care of yourself before going overboard. Love yourself enough to want to at least try to take the steps to making yourself feel better so you don't have to worry too much about coverage. There are too products and all out there to prevent your face from looking that way so take advantage of these skincare products and take care of yourself. Now it is unfortunate that we all don't have clear faces, but there are products out there in the world to help us get there, we have to work a tad bit harder but the outcome will be so amazing and you will be so happy and proud of yourself and would want to make sure you keep your skin nice and clear because your worked really hard to maintain it.
So Please, No More Crunch Bars and lets take care of the skin we have before adding more work to your problems.

Yeah, I agree … skin care should be priority number one BEFORE trying to cover up bumps and blemishes with make-up.
I love this ! So many people have this problem but don’t know how to camouflage it with make up its different from having acne which make sure it a challenge you are the real mvp 😘
